One Shot of an early 70’s Ludwig Superpraphonic. Add punch and sizzle to your drum trucks by loading this one shot into your favourite sampler. This snare has a lot of ring to it, it will add attitude to any snare that you may blend it with.

This pack includes a snare close and a room version.

The snare close was miked with a Shure Beta 57a and a Joesphen E22 on Snare top. SM57 on snare bottom. AKG 414 XLS as a crotch mic. Blended and processed together. This session used a Remo Vintage Emperor for the snare top skin and a Remo Ambassador (snare side) for the bottom skin

The snare room is a blend of a Royer 121 placed in front of the kit in Mono, 2 apex ribbon mics spaced apart, approximately 6” from the floor and an equilateral triangle to the snare. As well as a blend of 2 Aston Starlight Pencil Condensers placed over the kit in a spaced pair configuration. Each mic was placed the same distance from the center for the snare. All blended and processed together.
